Your journey begins with a consultation with our BOYL sales manager, who will answer your questions and help you navigate our options to find the perfect fit. Once you've chosen your home, we'll take the exciting first step of "building your home on paper," detailing the costs associated with your desired structural and initial design choices.
You're one step closer to your new home! You will be signing the purchase agreement with your sales manager. At this point, your Earnest Money Deposit will be collected. To keep the building process on track, we will also need your pre-approval for construction-to-permanent financing from one of our preferred lenders within the next five days.
Just as thrilling as choosing your perfect floor plan, the design selection process awaits! You'll soon be contacted by a dedicated Ward Communities Design Center Consultant to schedule your personalized meeting. Knowing the home you've chosen and the initial options you've selected, your consultant is excited to guide you through our extensive array of choices. With your design center selections fresh in mind, your next step is a meeting with your sales manager. Together, you'll review and officially finalize all your chosen features and finishes. This crucial step bridges the design phase and paves the way for the exciting construction of your personalized new home.
Before we break ground on your dream home, you'll have a comprehensive meeting with your dedicated construction manager. Together, you'll walk through your site plan, finalize all structural and design center selections, review detailed cabinet layouts and your electrical plan, and get a clear picture of what to expect throughout the exciting construction process. This crucial 90-minute session ensures we're all on the same page, setting the stage for a smooth and successful build.
The moment you've been waiting for is just around the corner! It's time to complete the purchase of your new home at the settlement. Your sales manager is ready to guide you through every detail of this process, including what to expect and how your payments will be handled. Reach out to them today for all the information you need for a seamless closing.
The exciting phase of construction has commenced on your new home! We're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Your dedicated construction and sales managers will be reaching out weekly with detailed updates, ensuring you're always in the know as your dream home takes shape.
Get an exclusive view "behind the walls" with your construction manager before drywall installation. This is also a chance to discuss the next building stages. Due to scheduling complexities, we may provide just 24 hours' notice for this optional walkthrough, offered as a courtesy.
The final countdown has begun! Approximately one week before you move in, you'll have your formal pre-settlement orientation with your construction manager – your first extended look at your almost-completed new home! Plan for a detailed 2-3 hour demonstration. You'll also have a brief 30-minute final walkthrough before your official sign-off.
